Lake Delta Fire Department has a diverse terrority that includes two major highways (State Route 26 and State Route 46), both of which are heavy commuting roadways and the lesser (though busy) CR60 or Elmer Hill Road on which our firehouse is located.
Our territory includes responding to calls on Lake Delta itself. A popular recreational site for its boating and State Park beauty, Lake Delta attracts visitors during the summer months from all areas.
In the winter months our Fire Department is most challenged. Outside our residential and commercial properties there exist vast sections of open land and trails that are put to use by the snowmobiling lovers from our area and beyond. Responding to such calls is always a challenge for our fire department.
