Whether it is a Medical Emergency, Fire, Flood, or a serious concern about the safety of your friends and neighbors; Lake Delta Fire Department will always respond. We need your help now however to continue to do so.
2006 brought increased costs to us all and Lake Delta Fire Department was no exception. Fuel costs rose significantly in 2006, as did a demand for our services. With a 20% increase in emergency calls over the previous year, our operating budget has undergone severe strain. Being a volunteer organization, cutting expenses means cutting supplies. This is not an option for any Fire Department; certainly not one that serves their community properly.
Lake Delta Fire personnel volunteer their time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to respond to emergencies. With funds being so short this year many of our volunteers have also voluntarily purchased basic equipment to carry us through. This is a burden we can not ask them to continue to do.
Lake Delta Fire Department will be there in 2007 but we need, and are asking, for your financial help today, to put diesel into our trucks, keep the heat and lights on and re-supply our medical and fire fighting supplies.
If Lake Delta Fire Department (check the map) is your responding Emergency FIRE and EMS provider our operating budget comes from you alone. When you contribute you are supporting Emergency Medical and Fire Services assistance for everyone at your home and in your community.
